The question this page answers
This retail month, what does the engine recommend for this assortment, where does the money left run out, and what do I put on the Bench?
What you see
Reorder lines is the replenishment engine worked from inside a commitment, on its Replenishment tab under Stock. The commitment's money is the budget the engine is read against, and the scope is the commitment's own assortment, not its categories. It is the tab a continuity book opens on, and it is offered in season too.
Three figures stand over the table: Recommended for the month, at cost; Open to commit, or Available after draft orders where draft holds are already deducted; and After recommendation, which says Exceeds available money when the recommendation runs past it. The month is the retail month containing today, kept inside the commitment's window. The receipt button beside the money opens the month's budget position.
The table is grouped by style, in the engine's order, and a style expands into its lines by variant and location. Columns are Style, Action, Location, Stock gap before arrival, On hand, On order, Units, At cost and Running total, then On order, Arrives and Supplier for the order already placed, with Destinations and Firmness from the engine. The running total runs down the styles, and a hairline across it reads the money runs out here, with the money leg beside it. Rows beyond the line keep their figures. A line the engine served no quantity for reads None served, and a line with no price reads Not priced.
Every timing and Every supplier narrow the rows, with a filtered subtotal. Where more lines exist than have loaded, the page counts them and loads the next set on request. On continuity, Commitment policies opens the commitment’s policy assignments; the Replenishment policies icon opens the catalogue.
What to do
Pick lines, or Select all eligible lines. The foot counts the picked lines and their cost, and says Over budget, Budget unavailable or how many are unpriced. Review selected opens a check of Lines, Units and Cost, and Add to Buy book stages them on the Bench. Staging places no order. The result stands in place with a door to the Bench. A row's menu offers Take it, the line's case, Open to buy, and Work the buy or Products. Review opens the line's case, which offers the same add. An order already placed on a line expands into its allocation.
Review the policy behind a line
The Replenishment policies icon opens the policy catalogue from this queue. On continuity commitments, Commitment policies still opens the rules assigned to this commitment. These serve different jobs: the catalogue edits a replenishment rule, while the commitment view manages its use within this commitment.
Open a policy from the catalogue to edit its rule or covered variants, save, and inspect History. When entered from the commitment, Back to replenishment returns to that commitment's queue. Saved rule changes schedule an inventory run; review the refreshed recommendation before staging an order.
When it is empty or failed
The page's sentences are short:
This commitment is closed.
This commitment is waiting on sign-off.
Nothing has sold yet.
The assortment did not answer.
No style carries an identity.
The engine did not answer.
The cut lines did not answer.
Before the season, the page offers Open Work the buy. A day outside the window is a refusal, not an empty table: the sentence names today and the window.
