What is still here at close, where does it go, and what does not come back?
What you see
Finish clean is the closing season's reading of what is left, and it is where the close is recorded. It is offered once a boxed season's window has ended, or the season is closed, under the room's Close the book tab, beside the Close the book view itself. Its figures come from the close preview, which computes what closing would record and writes nothing.
The top card counts what is On hand, its value At cost, and what Sells before the close at the current rate, or what Never sold once closed. Beside it, Selling weeks left is a stepper for the weeks still to sell, with what a week is worth; the close date is the close's own or the window's end.
The styles table lists each style with its Terminal units, a Route to choose, Opens at for a style carried into the next season, its Unit cost, and how many colourways it is priced across. A style with nothing terminal says so rather than offering a route.
The route plan is one table: Route, Units, Share, Comes back and Does not come back. The five routes are Carry to next season, Markdown in channel, Return to vendor, Off-price and Donate. Units per route are typed; the recovery is the reading's own. The remainder row says No route yet for unplaced units or Routed twice where units are placed twice. Clear the routes empties the plan. Valuation basis, beside the plan, states the basis the routes are valued on.
What to do
Type the units per route, or choose a route per style, until nothing is unplaced. Where units are carried, choose Which Commitment takes the carry; the depth it opens at is typed per style. Give the reason under Why this season closes here, then press the door at the foot: Record N routes, or Record where the leftovers go.
The press records the close with the route holding the most units as its one destination and the whole split beside it. Carried styles open the next season's buy at the depth typed. After the press, the door reads What the close recorded.
The press is dead, with its reason on the door, where the close preview did not answer, the commitment cannot be closed, the stock is not counted, units are unplaced or routed twice, the leading route is not one a close can record, a carry has no receiving commitment, or no reason is given. Recording a close needs the role that signs commitments off:

Capital reads the same stock as money at each month end.
When it is empty or failed
Reading what closing would record.
Records one destination for everything left.
The close reading did not answer.
A figure that cannot be measured reads Not measured or Not counted rather than a number, and a style with no cost reads No cost recorded.
