What it writes

Set a worked depth records how many units of one style a person decided to buy on one commitment: one row per style, or one per declared channel leg where the depth is set channel by channel. It spends nothing, stages no Bench line, places no order, and moves none of the five declared numbers; it is a planner's input to a figure the desk derives. Zero is a real cut and is recorded as one; the same depth again changes nothing and does not restamp the author; a hand-back removes the worked depth and returns the style to the forecast's depth. A depth you set is always recorded as a person's decision, even where it matches the prefill.

Who may press it

A seat that can write, on a plan that includes Commitments. The Depth cell on Work the buy is the act's home: type in it, or clear it to hand the style back. Ask Tightly may propose it as set_worked_depth, and offers it only to a seat that also holds editing on the Buy door. Pressing the chip asks Ask Tightly to restate the act, your yes is the confirm, and the write then runs under your own seat. Over MCP nothing here writes: a connected agent reads the commitment, and the act stays a person's press.

What you see

The cell's own value is the receipt, and the Whose column turns with it: The forecast's where nobody has decided, Yours with your name once you have, Cut to zero with the name where the depth is none. A refusal is a band above the grid naming the style and the server's sentence, and the cell reverts to the record. A depth that changes nothing says so:

This is already the depth on record, so nothing was changed and nobody was restamped.

What to do

The way back is the next write: type another depth, or clear the cell, which hands the style back to the forecast. The size and colour splits are their own acts, Set a size split and Set a colour split, and Add to Bench is what carries a worked depth to the Bench.

Refusals you may read

Saving a depth is not available on this account yet. Nothing was changed.

That sales channel is not one this account has, so no depth was set for it.

This style's depth is already set channel by channel, and its total is those numbers added up. Change a channel's depth, or clear them all first.

This style already carries one depth for the whole style. Clear that first, then set the depth channel by channel.

A channel that is not one of the commitment's declared legs is refused, and the sentence says to declare the channel on the commitment first. A style outside the commitment's scope is refused, because a depth against it would mean nothing; re-assign the style to bring it in, then work its depth. A style your catalogue does not declare as managed by Tightly is refused by name. A channel commitment has no styles to work and refuses every depth. Clearing a depth that does not match what is on record removes nothing:

No depth matches what you asked to clear, so there is nothing to remove. Depths set at a different grain (per-channel vs style-wide) stand untouched.
