The question this page answers
One account is one record: what it has booked this season, how firm that is, what its doors sold, what it sent you and the terms it trades on. The old addresses land here on the tab they meant: an account's record opens the Sell-out tab, its doors open Doors, and the old address of an EDI account opens Shelves.
What you see
- 1Record a booking, the head's one button.
- 2The tabs, each named for the page it opens.
- 3The Book table, one row per line.
The head is one line: the way back to Accounts, the account's name with the word EDI where it connects over EDI, the season select, a More press and one button, Record a booking. More holds Details, Explore in Ask and Chase the sell-out file; on Tightly Pro it also holds Show the season and Invite a buyer. On Essentials+ those two are absent, not locked.
Details opens a drawer with the season's figures (Styles, Units, Booked, Can still walk, Nobody has said, On hold, Sold through, Against their prediction and Doors measured, each where it is read) and the account's size run. Where no size run is known it reads "No size run is known for {account}."
Under the head is one row of tabs, each named for the page it opens: Book, Doors, Sell-out, Shelves, Products, Orders and Terms. Shelves and Products draw only for an account connected over EDI, so an account without EDI has five tabs.
Book is the season's lines. Its sentence reads "{money} booked for {season}; {money} can still walk until {day}.", or "{money} booked for {season}, all of it firm." The table is Style, State (Firm, Can still walk, Held, Draft, Shipped, Pulled or Not known), Units, Price, Value, Demand with its source word under it, Gap, Ships from, Cancel by, Last time and Grade; more columns wait behind Columns. Can still walk and Held stand as chips; every other state is behind Filter. A row opens the line with its versions. Under the table, Written in holds what the buyer claimed or held.
Doors is each of their shops, with the sentence "{n} of {n} doors report" and each door's predicted units for the season. Sell-out is what they sold of each style over 12, 26 or 52 weeks or the prior season: "{account} sold {n} of {n} held in {n} weeks; {n} of {n} doors report." Shelves and Products read the account's EDI feed. Orders is the account's order files, orders, EDI documents and invoices. Terms holds the terms, allowances, contacts, mail domains, the EDI setup and, on Pro, Seats.
What to do
Record a booking on Essentials+ opens a drawer: Style, Units, "Held: sizes and price to follow", the wholesale price, and Ships from with the cancel date. Before the button it reads:
Records {units} of {style} on {account}'s {season} book. Recording writes it down and sends nothing.
Record the booking writes the line, and the receipt reads, for example, "1 line recorded. Nothing was sent to {account}." On Pro the same button opens the commitment's Agreed book with this account chosen.
On the Book, tick lines and type the change in the bar under the table; Record what was agreed writes it. On a claim, Accept reads "Accepted. The line carries a new version." and Dismiss reads "Dismissed. It stays on file with what they wrote." On Tightly Pro, a hold from a showing offers Record as booked. On Doors, confirm a suggested type, and where the door list is on file use Door types and Add a door. On Terms, Change records the terms, Declare the allowances, Save the mail domains.
On Pro, Terms → Ships from shows the account’s fulfilment warehouses. An administrator can choose warehouses for this account or select Use channel warehouses to restore inheritance. Archived accounts cannot be changed. If the settings changed while you were reviewing them, reload before saving again.
Chase the sell-out file opens Sell-out intake with this account chosen. Explore in Ask opens Ask Tightly on this account. It can open a tab or an intake for you, and make changes to the account's record in Tightly (a booking, a claim or its decision, its terms, allowances or mail domains, a door's type, how its sell-out reads) only after you say yes on a later turn. It never invites a buyer and never sends anything to the account.
When it is empty or failed
"Nothing is booked for {season} yet." is a season with no value on this account; "Nothing is on the book for {season} yet." is an empty table. "The book did not load." and "What sold did not load" each offer Try again. Orders reads "No order from {account} yet."; Shelves reads "{account} sends no EDI feed."; and on Tightly Pro, where no buyer holds a seat, Terms reads "No seat at {account} yet." An address naming a tab this account does not draw opens the Book.
