The question this page answers
Accounts is the front door of Tightly Connect: which accounts need me this week, and where the season's book stands against what they should buy. It opens on Tightly Essentials+ and Tightly Pro. On Essentials the Connect row is marked Essentials+ and opens the page that sells it; on Lite there is no Connect row. The old Retailers address lands here, on the EDI view.
What you see
- 1The verdict sentence, what is booked against demand and how many accounts wait on you.
- 2The two views that stand at rest, All and Waits on you, each with its count.
- 3One row per account, ordered by exposure.
The head is one line: Accounts, Explore in Ask, the season select, Details and one button, Add an account. Under it one sentence reads "{money} booked of {money} demand for {season}; {n} accounts wait on you.", or "{money} booked for {season}." where no demand is served, or "Nothing booked for {season} yet." The waiting clause opens Waits on you. Where a read failed, one sentence under it names it, for example:
The claims did not answer.
Details opens a drawer, Accounts · details, holding the figures: Booked, Can still walk, Closing inside 14 days (whose windows, and the soonest date, under it), Nobody has said, Claims waiting (opens Waits on you), Sold through with how many accounts report both sides, Lowest (the account clearing least, a press opens it) and Sends sell-out. A figure with nothing in it is left out rather than printed as None. Beside them stand two charts: Booked, with what can still walk inside each account's bar, and Sold, against what the doors held; a bar press opens that account.
Two views stand at rest with their counts, All and Waits on you. Every other view sits behind one Filter press, offered only where it narrows the list: Can still walk, Sends sell-out, EDI, Not shown (Pro) and No book yet. Search accounts and Columns sit at the row's end.
The table is one row per account, ordered by exposure, 25 to a page. At 1440 it draws Account (with EDI, Needs setup or Unmapped beside the name), Doors where a door list is on file, Shown on Pro, Booked, Demand with sell-out or sell-in under the figure, Gap (the money under or over demand, or Same), Firm, Can still walk, Deadline, Sell-out, Seats on Pro, and Waits on you. Deadline is the soonest cancel date with its days left on hover; only the soonest window closing inside 14 days carries the one amber mark; No deadline carries its reason on hover. Sell-out reads EDI · weekly, File with the day it last came, Quiet with the weeks, or Never. Waits on you counts claims, asks, order files and door types. Columns adds Last season, Nobody has said, Sold, On hand, Sold through, Doors reporting, Periods reported, Last reported, Weeks, Terms and more; at 2560 Last season, Last ordered and Terms join on their own. Where demand is not served yet, Predicted units and their gap stand in its place.
The EDI view is a fixed table: Account, Booked, Sell-out, Sync (a date, the date with stale after 14 days, or Not synced yet), Velocity, Sell-through (each Not measured where nothing came back) and Next order (a date, or No estimate).
On a wide screen a row press opens the account's reading beside the list; elsewhere it opens the account.
What to do
A row's menu carries Open, Doors, Sell-out, Chase the sell-out file and Add from a file; on Tightly Pro it also carries Show the season and Invite a buyer. j and k walk the rows and Enter opens one.
Add an account opens a drawer: Name, Kind, Currency, Payment terms and What they may cancel, which starts at Not recorded. The line before the button reads "{name} joins Accounts with no book yet. Nothing is sent to them." Add the account writes it, and the receipt reads "Added {name} · {day}" with Open the account. A name already on file is refused:
{name} is already an account. Open it rather than adding it again.
Waits on you opens a drawer of Kind, Account, What they said, What it is, Worth and the act. Accept writes a new version of the claimed line, "Accepted {day}. {n} lines carry a new version."; Dismiss keeps it, "Dismissed {day}. It stays on file with what they wrote." A claim that names no line reads Can only be dismissed. An order file opens with Open the order file; a door type with Confirm on Doors. On Pro a Thread column opens the conversation with the buyer, and Answer replies to an ask.
Explore in Ask opens Ask Tightly on this page; it can set a view, search, or open an account or one of its tabs, and it writes nothing here. Nothing here sends anything to an account except a Thread answer on Pro, which the buyer reads.
When it is empty or failed
"No accounts on file yet." is the first run, with Add an account. "No account matches this view." and "Nothing waits on you." offer Show every account. "No season is declared yet." is Pro's empty season; "No book on file yet." is Essentials+'s. A failed read prints "The {season} book could not be read." with Try again. Where the coverage read failed, the Periods reported header reads Periods · not read and the Sell-out cells stand blank: a failed read, not an account that sent nothing.
