What closing a seat or a showing writes

Two separate closes on the buyer portal, and both only narrow what a buyer can reach. Neither sends anything.

Withdrawing a showing stops its link answering. It writes a new version of the showing carrying the day it was withdrawn; it is never an edit, so what the buyer was shown stays on record as it was. Withdrawing a showing that is already withdrawn reads back the same showing rather than withdrawing it twice. Nothing already booked is touched.

Closing a seat revokes one buyer's access to the portal now: their next read on the portal is refused. The seat stays on file, closed, and what the buyer already sent you stays.

Who may close a seat or a showing

A seat that can write (read and write or above), on Tightly Pro, where the buyer portal and showings exist. On Essentials+ neither act is offered.

Ask Tightly may propose either. It states which one it will close in one sentence and ends its turn, and closes it only after you say yes on a later turn. Sharing a showing, inviting a buyer and changing which pages a seat opens stay presses on the page, because each reaches a person outside your company; Ask Tightly declines them and says where they are made.

Where you close them by hand

A showing: on the account's sheet in Showroom, More holds Withdraw. The sheet then reads "The showing to {account} was withdrawn on {day}.", and the Showroom list's Link column reads Withdrawn {day}. See Showroom.

A seat: in the Seats at {account} drawer (Invite a buyer), Revoke on the seat's row asks once more:

{person} loses the seat now; what they sent you stays.

Revoke the seat closes it and reads "{person} no longer holds a seat."; Keep it leaves it. See Invite a buyer.

What Ask Tightly says before it closes one

The sentence is composed by Tightly from the account, not written by Ask:

Withdraw the showing sent to {account}, so its link stops answering; nothing is sent to the buyer.

Close this buyer's seat at {account} now; nothing is sent to them.

How to reopen a seat or a showing

Neither is undone from a conversation. A withdrawn showing is shared again from the account's sheet with Share as a link, which makes a new link. A closed seat reads "This seat is revoked; invite them again to give them one." and is handed back by inviting the buyer again from Seats. Both are the page's presses, because both reach the buyer.

Refusals you may read when closing

Changing a closed seat instead of reopening it:

That seat is closed. Invite the buyer again to reopen it.

A showing that is not on file is refused by name. "The seat was not revoked." stands in the drawer where no reason came back.
