The question this page answers
Forecast for my stores answers what this brand expects your doors to sell of the season, and whether that is read off your doors or theirs. The engine behind it is the brand's baseline engine, which grades each style at your account from what your own doors sold of the style's predecessor. Only a grade whose evidence is your own doors crosses to you.
What you see
The head is the page's name, Forecast for my stores. Where your account has sent no sell-out, a Sell-through button stands in it, because your own weekly file is what grades your doors.
The figure row counts Graded from your doors (styles read from your doors over all styles on the sheet). Likely to sell (units), Proposed (units from the open showing) and Your doors stand beside it only in some states of the page, so read the sheet's footers for those totals. The counts follow the sheet's search.
The table is one style a row, searchable by style: Style, Last take, Sold, On hand, Sold through, Grade (Winner, Sleeper or Bleeder, with the engine's sentence on hover, which names your doors and your weeks), Likely to sell, Expected sell-through, Proposed (from the open showing, or Not proposed), Ordered and Gap, By door and Thread. Sold, On hand and Sold through are what your doors recorded for the predecessor. Some columns come and go: Sold through appears only where the grade's rate differs from last time's; Expected sell-through leaves once a showing proposes and the two rates agree; Proposed appears once a showing proposes; Thread once anyone has said something on a row, as a count. Ordered and Gap are the units you have ordered against the forecast, with Gap reading {n} under, {n} over or On forecast; they appear while the brand leaves that reading on for your seat, which it is unless they turn it off.
A style whose grade was not read from your doors prints Not graded from your doors and no number: not because the brand has no grade, but because the grade it holds was borrowed from other styles or other doors and is the seller's instrument, not your evidence. A style with no predecessor at your account reads New to you. On an account where nothing is graded from your doors the table keeps only Style, Last take, Proposed, Ordered and Gap, and Thread.
By door opens a pane beside the sheet where the page is wide enough, and a drawer over it where it is not: the style's expected units split week by week across your doors by each door's share. The split is one number divided, labelled as such, never a second forecast; a door with no share reads No share, and a style with no split reads "{style} is not graded from your doors."
What to do
You adjust nothing on the grade or the curve; your answer is a number you will take, recorded as units on hold through the showing. Press a row to open its doors, or its Thread count to ask the brand about it. Where the head offers it, press Sell-through and send your own weekly file there; your account is re-graded from it and no other account is touched, and this page fills on your next read. The season control in the band chooses which commitment's grades you read; with none chosen the page reads the nearest season you are in.
When it is empty or failed
Absence words: Not graded from your doors, Not sized, Not proposed, Not measured, New to you, Not split, No rate, No share. Where there is nothing to draw the page says why: "No season shown yet.", "No style is graded yet.", or the brand's own sentence for a season it cannot read. A read that failed reads "Your forecast did not load.", or the server's sentence, with Try again. A thread nobody has spoken in reads "Nothing said yet." over "{brand} can read this and answer here." Nothing here is a Winner from another account's doors, and no brand level, depth or envelope appears.
