The sentence
The word under a demand figure, on the account's Book and, where an active Commitment declares the season, on Accounts:
sell-in
The word in a Grade cell, on the account's Book and Sell-out tab and, on Tightly Pro, in the showroom:
Sell-in only
The baseline engine's own sentence when no account at all reports sell-out:
No account reports sell-out yet, so there is nothing to grade.
What it means
Tightly holds what this account orders from you, and nothing it can use about what the style sold there. The account has reported nothing for the style's predecessor, its look-alikes or its family, or has sent no sell-out at all, and the brand has no borrowed level for the style either. So the baseline engine has no evidence to grade the style there, and it does not declare a grade from someone else's doors. The demand figure then stands on the account's sell-in, and the word sell-in under it says so. On Accounts the word follows the season's married demand: sell-out where the account's sell-out measures the season, sell-in where it does not. The two sides are married, one or the other driving the account's demand, never added together.
It is not a failed read and not an empty book: the account's lines, prices and windows are all on file. It is not a zero: the account may have sold everything, and nobody has told Tightly. And it is not the engine being late: a late or failed run says so with its own date, and this word says the input was never there.
Sell-in only is one of several words a Grade cell can carry in place of a grade. From the brand means the account reported nothing for the style or anything like it, so the brand's own level stands in. Too few weeks and Out of stock all season are the engine's reasons for refusing a pair, and Not graded is a pair it never assessed or refused without naming why.
What to do next
Land the account's weekly report through Sell-out intake: choose the account, preview the file, record the account's answers once, and import it. The account's styles are graded again as soon as the file lands, for that account and no other, and the word under a demand figure turns to sell-out where a predecessor the account reported decides it. Its Sell-out tab and Doors tab fill on their next read. Chase the sell-out file, on the account's Sell-out tab, opens Sell-out intake with that account already chosen.
Until then the book is the evidence: record the account's orders with Record a booking on the account, or bring them in through Order intake, and the demand figure reads from them. Where a comparable style at the account exists, the engine borrows from it instead and prints a range with borrowed under it, which is a different word for a different source.
