The question this page answers
What came in from my system, and is it what Tightly should plan against? Review is the second phase of Setup. It starts with a data report, followed by four setup sections: the channels, the suppliers, the warehouses, and the warehouses each channel ships from. Where you stop is where you resume, section by section.
What you see
Your data separates incomplete imports, data issues and checks that could not run. Workspace counts do not prove source completeness. Select a finding to open its correction; missing costs opens the Unit cost field directly. Not checked opens concise findings with currency or mapping actions and optional Evidence. View-only users can inspect currency settings without being offered a save. View evidence retains the full dataset and check details.
The head is
Review what came in
with the basis line From {source}; each section carries its own sentence. The section titles are the words the chair prints: Sales channels, Suppliers, Warehouses and Link warehouses in the brand chair; Sales channels, Vendors, Stores & DCs and Link stores in the retailer chair, whose sentences count vendors and stores; Suppliers, Locations and Link locations where a company sells both ways.
Sales channels: one row per channel, Channel and Plans for it, a switch with the word On or Off beside it. Tightly plans for the channels that are on and never forecasts demand or plans replenishment for the ones left off. The section's sentence counts how many are on and planned and how many off, and a toggle saves at once. A single-channel organisation skips this section and the last one.
Suppliers: Supplier and Lead time, with Where and Contact where any supplier carries one, read only here. A supplier with no lead time reads Not set and is planned against your default until one is set; the sentence counts them:
{k} use your default lead time.
or Every one has a lead time.
Warehouses: Warehouse, Holds sellable stock as a switch with its word, Location, and Default on the one row that is. Tightly plans replenishment for the warehouses that hold sellable stock and not for the ones left off. The sentence counts them and ends "saved when you continue".
Link warehouses: Channel and Ships from, a pick of the active warehouses, with a linked warehouse that came from your system shown as a fixed chip reading From {source}. Stock is planned where it sells, so each channel names the warehouses it ships from; the sentence counts the active channels and those with no warehouse linked yet. Inactive channels are not listed, and a pick saves at once.
What to do
- In Sales channels, turn each channel on or off; the toggle writes at once and the row reads Saving while it does.
- In Suppliers, check the lead time each supplier reads; this table is read only here.
- In Warehouses, turn each warehouse's Holds sellable stock on or off, then press Continue to save them all.
- In Link warehouses, pick the warehouses each channel ships from; each pick writes at once.
- Press Continue to end the phase and open Finish; press Back to return to Importing.
Continue stays disabled while rows exist and none is on, with the reason Turn on at least one channel or Turn on at least one warehouse.
On Self-serve, Review carries Skip for now, and its consequence line says what skipping leaves standing:
Every channel is planned and every warehouse holds sellable stock until you change them in Settings.
Only Connect is mandatory. Skipping keeps the current setup defaults; it does not certify imported data quality or planning readiness. Nothing here creates or deletes a channel, a supplier or a warehouse; that is done later in Settings under Channels and Locations, and on the Suppliers page.
When it is empty or failed
No channels from {source}.
No suppliers from {source}.
Tightly plans against the default location until a warehouse comes from {source}.
A failed data-report refresh hides previous findings and offers Try again. Refresh checks the latest available evidence.
A section whose read failed reads "{section} did not load." with Try again.
A refused toggle prints the server's sentence under the row and the switch returns to the served value. Where the server said nothing:
The change was not saved and no reason came back.
The warehouses were not saved and no reason came back.
Review was not skipped and no reason came back.
