Importing, and the dead end

The sentence

Your {source} import stopped at {set}.

The Importing step prints, in place of its progress sentence, the reason the connection served for the set that failed, or the run's own reason. Where nothing was served it prints the sentence above, or "Your {source} import stopped." where no set is named. Under it stand Try again, which asks for the run again, and one of two doors by mode (below). A second sentence belongs to the same card, for a run that was asked for and never began:

Your import has not started; Tightly has been told.

What it means

The first import of your system stopped before it ever succeeded. Tightly fetches seven sets in order: Warehouse data and connections, Connected sales channels, Product details and variants, Inventory counts and stock levels, Supplier information, Sales orders and Finalizing setup. Each reads Not started, Syncing, Synced or Failed in the table under the sentence. On a run that is still going, a set that reads Failed carries the reason the connection served on hover of the word; on the dead end the head is that sentence, said once. The dead end prints only when a set failed and nothing has ever landed; an import that fails after an earlier success is not a dead end.

The second sentence is a run that never started: every set still Not started a quarter of an hour after the connection was made, and no run ever stamped. It is a real state, not a slow one, and Tightly's own staff channel is told by its hourly pass.

Neither sentence is a diagnosis. It says which set stopped and what the connection said. Review cannot open until the first pass lands, because the pages after it plan against what Review confirms.

What to do next

On Self-serve the one door is

Ask Tightly what is missing

It opens the Ask Tightly panel. Tightly has also been told, unasked: the failure posted to the staff channel with your organisation, the set and the sentence, so the connector is fixed without a ticket. Nobody at Tightly will call; there is no booking on a Self-serve face.

On Guided the card says

{name} has been told.

and offers Book time, a door to your Tightly contact's diary. Your contact reads the same failure on their side. On the run that never began, the Self-serve door reads Ask Tightly, and where no contact is served yet the Guided card says "Tightly has been told."

Leaving is safe. Log out and come back: the record still says Importing, so you land on this card, and the data-ready email brings you to Review once the first pass lands. While a run is in flight a Learn line stands under the sets, six doors into the knowledge base.

Who to ask

Ask Tightly, on this card and on every page, is the helper on Self-serve; the knowledge base is what it reads. On Guided, the person named on the plan. There is no support mailbox on this face, and no call to book on Self-serve.
