The sentence
What Tightly answers when Ask Tightly tries to perform a page's own act itself, instead of offering it to you:
The page performs this act; the copilot only proposes it. Nothing was called.
The rest of that answer tells Ask Tightly where to put the act: on the page, with the page's own rows, for you to press. The answer is addressed to Ask Tightly rather than to you, so you rarely read it; you read its result, which is the act offered as a button under the answer.
What it means
Ask Tightly proposes; the page performs after you press. Ask Tightly never ticks a row, arms a bar or presses a button. It returns an act, a typed proposal that names rows the page showed by the page's own keys, and the page in front of you arms it. Your press performs it through the page's own writers, so a refusal lands where you pressed. One performer per act, always: a press the page took is not also sent back to Ask Tightly, so one press can never both arm a bar and start a second write.
So when you ask Ask Tightly to draft a purchase order from the rows in front of you, or to add styles to the Bench, and it answers that the page performs this act, nothing went wrong and nothing was called. The act arrives as a button carrying the rows the answer named, and the button is yours. Ask Tightly writes something itself only from a short list of permitted acts, and asks first unless the write is one only you will see, such as keeping an answer on your own Board or Home.
Six acts on a commitment are a person's alone, and Ask Tightly reaches them only as a door: amend, reassign, sign off, release the chase, retire and close. A button Ask Tightly names for one of those is demoted to a sentence; the door opens the act's own drawer or page with the answer's choices filled in, and the press there is yours. A few other writes, such as confirming a sales order or sending an invoice, are refused from the conversation outright and made on their page with the document in view.
It is not a permission problem: your seat may well hold the act. It is not a plan gate: a room your plan does not include has its own sentence. It is the shape of every write Ask Tightly proposes.
What to do next
Press the button under the answer. It arms the page's own act over the rows the answer named, and the page's own control performs it. If the answer named rows the page did not show, the act stands as a sentence and not a button; ask again from the page that shows them. To undo, use the page's own way back.
Who to ask
Ask Tightly itself, on the page: ask what pressing the act would change before you press it, and it answers from the act's own article.
