WhereSetup, the Finish phase (the last cards before Home)

The question this page answers

What rhythm should Tightly plan my orders against, and when can I start? Finish is the third phase of Setup: your planning rhythm, then, on Essentials+ and Pro, the accounts you sell to, then the moment the account is ready. On a Guided arrival, connecting the inbox you email suppliers from is not a step here; it is a task on Home.

What you see

Setup's Finish phase, the planning rhythm card, marked 1 to 2.
  1. The row set, Name, Currency and Time zone, each with a Change control.
  2. The two defaults every order is planned against, lead time and frequency.

Your planning rhythm is one row set, under the basis line Editable in Settings. Its sentence states the rhythm as it stands:

{name} plans {frequency} against a {n}-day lead time.

Where Tightly already holds the name, the currency or the time zone, each stands as a fact with a Change control, and with the words From Shopify beside it where Shopify wrote it; one Tightly does not hold opens as its control. Two controls carry defaults: Default lead time in days, from 1 to 365, with the words How long a supplier usually takes beside it, and Replenishment frequency, Daily, Weekly or Monthly. Currency and time zone decide how every figure and date in Tightly reads; the lead time and the frequency set the default rhythm every order is planned against until a supplier or a policy says otherwise. Nothing here touches the fiscal year or the Budget.

On Essentials+ and Pro, Your accounts follows: the accounts you sell to through Tightly Connect, with Add an account above them and Skip for now as the press until one is named.

On a store install the last card is Your email, one address Tightly may write to, filled in with the address you signed up with and required, under "Tightly may write to you at this address." A Guided record parked on the old email step meets the card Connect your email with one button, Finish setup.

Setting up your account shows a bar that fills, and the page opens Home by itself.

On Guided, the Onboarding plan stands beside the wizard: one checklist you and your Tightly contact both see, with rows ticked from the record (the system connected, the first import complete, the fields matched) and rows a person ticks by hand (the kickoff held, the data checked against your system, the readiness review said aloud). Each row reads Done, Not needed, Waiting on you, Waiting on Tightly or Open, and a finished row says who did it. Only an Admin settles a row. The wizard's eyebrow counts the setup steps, not the plan.

What to do

  1. Check the name, currency and time zone; press Change on any that is wrong.
  2. Set Default lead time in days and Replenishment frequency, or keep the defaults.
  3. Press Continue to save them and walk on; it stays disabled until a lead time is set.
  4. On Essentials+ and Pro, press Add an account under Your accounts, or Skip for now.
  5. On a store install, confirm Your email, or press Finish setup on a Guided record parked on the old email step.
  6. On Home, connect the inbox you email suppliers from when you are ready.

Every one of these is editable later in Settings: name, currency and time zone under General, lead time and frequency under Planning.

When it is empty or failed

A refused save prints the server's own sentence under the row set. Where it said nothing:

The settings were not saved and no reason came back.

A finalize the server refused reads

Setup could not be closed and no reason came back.

and the record stays on Finish, so a reload resumes here. On a phone the last step does not advance: the bar is not drawn, and Sign out for now stands in its place.
