What to ask

Ask Tightly to propose the products one channel, or one account on a channel, can sell within a commitment. Name the commitment, the channel, the account where it is one account's range, and the products to include or exclude. A range can also be set back to inherit: an account then takes its channel's range, and a channel takes the commitment's.

What changes

Ask creates a proposal for approval. It changes nothing on the commitment by itself: the proposal lands in the approval queue as an amendment, carrying the reason you give, and only its approval applies the new range. The answer says so, and says it was not applied.

Only the product range and the proposal's reason can change through this act; every other declared figure on the commitment is carried over exactly as it stands, so a range proposal cannot quietly move the envelope or any other number. A range is a list of products to include, a list to exclude, or both. A channel's range must sit inside the commitment's own products, and an account's range inside its channel's range.

Who may ask

A seat that can write, on a plan that includes Commitments. Because this records a fact about what a channel or an account may sell, the yes has to be a turn of its own: Ask Tightly states the proposal, and only your reply on a later turn, to that same proposal unchanged, lets it through. Before it asks, Ask Tightly reads the commitment and composes the sentence you say yes to from what that read served, for example "Request approval to select 12 products for channel … in …". Over MCP nothing here writes, and an API key bound to one account is refused.

What you see

The proposal is checked against the declaration you reviewed. If the commitment has changed since, it is refused and you are asked to review the latest declaration, so a proposal is never approved against a range nobody read. Once it is filed, it waits in the approval queue with the rest of the commitment's amendments.
