The question this page answers

What is waiting on my decision, and what happens if I say yes? The Inbox holds everything pending that is assigned to you, grouped by kind, the biggest first, with its money in a column. Nothing here places an order, changes a price or publishes a plan; every row is a decision a person takes, and the page says what each yes does before you press it.

Inbox is the second row of the rail, under Home, and the rail carries its count.

What you see

Inbox, the head and the table, marked 1 to 2.
  1. The head, Inbox, with its two tabs, Decisions and Notifications, and the pin.
  2. The table, grouped by kind, ranked by money then newest first.

The head reads Inbox with the basis Yours · pending. Two tabs sit under it: Decisions, with the number of pending decisions, and Notifications. A pin in the head adds an Inbox block to your Home.

Decisions is one table of four columns: What (the row's own sentence), From (the skill that parked it, the person who asked, or the account whose mail Ask Tightly read), Waiting (how long it has waited, with the day it arrived on hover) and Amount (Not priced where no figure was served). Rows are grouped under their kind, such as Parked runs or Tasks, and the Amount column totals each group and the whole table. The rows are ranked by money, then newest first.

Press a row to open it beside the list, or in a drawer on a narrow screen: its kind, its sentence, its facts, a door to its subject where one resolves (Open the room, Open the run, Open the thread, Review product), then what yes does and the two verbs. On a wide screen the biggest row opens by itself.

Notifications lists what has arrived for you, with Mark all read while any are unread.

The kinds

KindYesNoWhat yes does
Parked runApproveRejectResumes the parked run; rejecting cancels it
ApprovalApproveRejectYour decision is recorded; a run waiting on it resumes or cancels
Finance reviewReview orderReturn for change in the orderOpens the purchase order; its reviewer records review or returns a change note there
TaskMark doneDismissMarks it done; nothing else runs
Commitment amendmentApprove & applyRejectApplies the amendment as a new receipted version of the commitment
Autonomy promotionApprove & promoteDeclineRaises the commitment to the offered rung
Plan changeApprove & applyRejectApplies the change to the working plan; publishing stays with a person
Markdown proposalAcceptRejectRecords the accepted depth; the price change stays with you
Tightly Connect reorderAcceptRejectRecords the accepted reorder; placing it with the account stays with you
Sell-out fileImportNot this fileLands the file as that account's week; their grade re-reads
Supplier updateApproveIgnoreWrites the change to the order, then marks the update approved
Account claimAcceptDismissVersions the account's line through the book's one decision route

The Sell-out file, Supplier update and Account claim rows arrive from Ask Tightly reading your mail. A colleague asking you to sign a commitment off arrives as a row of its own kind, with Acknowledge and Decline:

Sign-off requested

Signing off happens in the room; this row is the ask.

A Finance review opens its purchase order with Review order. Mark reviewed records the review; Return for change requires a note. Neither action approves funding or confirms the order.

An Additional buy request row does not open here: it opens Work the Buy on its commitment, with Review supply in the row. A kind the page does not know yet shows in plain words with Approve and Reject, and its yes reads Your decision is recorded.

What to do

  1. Press a row to read what its yes does before you decide.
  2. Press the verb the row offers, for example Approve or Reject (each kind's verbs are in the table above).
  3. Wait for the row to land; every button holds still until it does, one decision at a time.
  4. Read the pane's own word for what happened, for example "Approved: {title}."

Nothing navigates and nothing pops up. You decide only rows assigned to you; a row assigned to someone else, or already decided, is refused. Deciding needs a seat that can edit.

When it is empty or failed

Nothing waiting.

Your inbox could not be read just now.

A failed read offers Try again in the head. A decision the server refused prints its sentence where the two verbs stood, or

Not recorded, nothing changed.

where it gave none, and the row stays pending. On the Notifications tab an empty list reads Nothing new. and a failed one Notifications could not be read just now.
