The question this page answers

How reliable is this supplier, on what terms do we buy from them, what needs my attention, what do they supply and in what packs, and what is on order with them?

What you see

The supplier is one record with a head, a row of figures, five tabs and a Shipping card beside them. In the retailer chair the record is the vendor.

The head names the supplier, with the word archived when it is, and a way back to Suppliers. Under it the figures read On time and In full over the supplier's order lines due in the last twelve months, the Minimum order value, and Lead time as the range across your warehouses. With no orders measured, On time and In full read Not measured; with no minimum on record the figure reads None on record; with no lead time it reads Not set. An archived record adds one line: Out of every menu and not syncing, history kept.

What needs a person is one button in the head, Needs a person with its count, which opens a drawer grouped into Orders, Variants, Replenishment readiness and Configuration. The rows are orders the supplier has written about or that are past their expected delivery date, variants in critical condition, variants with no lead time or no unit cost, and terms nobody has set, such as the default lead time or the minimum order value. Each row's act is a door or a press: Review order, View email, Open the book when more orders need action than the drawer shows, Review now, Add to bench, Set, Configure and Edit. On Lite and Essentials the critical variants row offers Review now, which opens Smart Replenishment scoped to this supplier, beside Add to bench, and the head carries a Smart Replenishment button; on Pro both are absent and the row stands on Add to bench. The same counts ride on the Orders, Catalog and Terms tabs.

The tabs: Orders is the purchase orders pinned to this supplier, with its Orders and Suggested views and the words Last updated naming the most recent order. Catalog is what the supplier carries, in three segments: Variants, Products and Size packs. Its Variants columns are Product, Variant, SKU, Unit cost, Cadence, Lead time, MOQ, Batch and Size pack; MOQ and Batch show a dash where nothing is set and 1 where a size pack governs them. Terms holds the deposit, cancellation notice, landed cost factor, minimum order value and price breaks. Contacts lists the supplier's people. Email lists the threads with the supplier's domains. The Shipping card lists each warehouse lane with its lead time.

What to do

Writing needs a seat that can write; the server refuses a read-only seat's save. Edit opens the same drawer as New supplier on Suppliers, with a table of lanes by warehouse; the consequence line counts how many lanes Save writes and says the rest are unchanged.

Archive asks in a popover: the supplier drops out of the menus for contacts, purchase orders and inventory items, stops syncing, and keeps its links and history; you can unarchive at any time. Unarchive runs on the click.

In Catalog, Add to catalog opens the variants the supplier does not yet carry. Select rows for Add to bench with one quantity for every selected line, Edit to set Unit cost, MOQ, Batch size or Cadence in days on every selected line, Assign to another supplier, which moves the variants to another supplier's catalog and can carry the MOQ, unit cost and lead time or set it as default, or Remove, with Undo in place. Unit cost also edits in its cell and saves as you leave it. Size pack explains the third segment and its acts. In Terms, Edit changes the supplier's terms.

In Orders, Approve and Ignore a suggested order as on the book. Nothing on this record creates a purchase order or moves stock.

When it is empty or failed

This supplier could not be read.

The read failed; the record offers the way back to Suppliers.

What needs attention could not be read.

The attention read failed; the record still renders.

When nothing needs a person, the Needs a person button is not drawn. A catalog with nothing in it reads No products in this catalog; a supplier with no size packs reads No size packs yet.
