A commitment's state says what has and has not been measured, in five distinct words.
What changed
- In the commitment room, the assortment breaks down by capital quadrant, each item with its quadrant, options and depth; items with no quadrant yet are their own group rather than grouped with the underperformers.
- The basis page is a table of fact rows in place of dense paragraphs, each row able to carry a longer explanation inline; nothing was removed.
- Consumption, coverage and needs attention read as marks, key and value rows and tables; a row with no figure shows a word rather than a blank dash.
- All commitments and the room keep every relevant figure and drop the paragraphs; route names, method names and mode names never print.
- A commitment's state is one of five: Not tested yet, the window has not opened; Awaiting first week, the window is open and no week is scored; On track, a retail week is scored and the commitment is kept; Not scored since a date, scoring stopped; No score expected, the window closed; each has its own mark, so the meaning never rides on colour, and a breach always passes through.
- The list states what its figures cover and how items are priced, and its state column shows the calculated verdict, never Armed.
- Step 2 of Declare no longer contradicts step 4 about what a season with no declared assortment covers; it describes how the live catalogue is resolved.
