The question this page answers

What did each closed season's buy cost, what came back from it, and how much of that can be trusted?

What you see

The review is hindsight across closed seasons. It reads every commitment with a boxed window that ended before today; a rolling window does not end, so a continuity commitment has no close and cannot be reviewed, and the page says so. Every figure is USD, and a close whose currency Tightly cannot verify as USD shows no money figure rather than a converted one.

The head reads Investment review with the sales cutoff beside it: the date sales are counted up to, before midnight UTC, on current records. Three figures sit under it:

  • Closes reviewed, with how many were eligible.
  • USD verified, the closes whose money is verified as USD, out of those shown.
  • Excluded, the eligible closes left out.

Where any close is missing a money figure, the notice Verified USD amounts only stands over the table.

The table is one row per close, named by its category and season, with its window under it:

  • Delivered capital · USD, with a bar on one scale for every row.
  • Margin, headed after carry where every row has carry taken off, before carry where none has, and Margin · USD where the rows differ, with Less declared carry or Carry not measured under each figure.
  • Currency: USD, Mixed currencies, Non-USD, or a dash where it is unverified.
  • Lines priced · PO / Sales, how many of each close's purchase order lines and sale lines carry a price, each as a bar and a count.

A figure Tightly cannot stand behind reads Capital not measured or currency unverified, or Margin not measured or currency unverified.

Two panels open beneath the table. How this review is measured states the basis, one entry per close with its identity, its return and carry basis and its pricing coverage, what is not measured, and the continuity note. Closes not included lists each excluded close with its reason: Start date missing, No eligible delivered lines, Delivered costs missing, or No positive delivered cost. The evidence view carries no portfolio totals and proposes no reallocation, and says so.

How Tightly decides it

Capital is delivered purchase order quantity at each line's cost, placed in a close by the expected delivery date. Return is the margin sold inside the window plus the margin sold after it, at current variant cost, less carry. After a window closes, sales of its products count toward the most recently ended window that holds them. Carry is measured only once a carrying-cost rate is declared, and then on the whole committed cost for the whole window, which is the most the buy could have cost to carry; the page says so rather than halving a figure. Nothing is converted between currencies, and current records can change, so this is not frozen history.

What to do

Read a close's row, then open How this review is measured for its basis. To measure carry, declare a carrying-cost rate in Finance declarations; only an admin can change it. The review writes nothing and never edits a commitment.
