The question this page answers
What is in my catalogue, what is each product missing for planning and for its family, and which values are mine rather than the connector's? The Catalogue is the Product zone's front door. It is included with Tightly Essentials+ and Tightly Pro; on Essentials the rail marks it for sale with Essentials+; on Lite it does not appear.
What you see
The head is the page's name, Catalogue, with Explore in Ask, Import and New product beside it. Under it, the attribution engine speaks one sentence only when its state is one you would act on. The figure row carries the counting: Products, Variants and No family, the last the Families desk's own total over the whole catalogue. The basis line reads Cost · Price · USD, adding CBM and kg when a cube or weight column is on screen.
The controls are one row. View by groups the catalogue by Product, Category or Collection. Two views ride as a segmented control: All, and Missing attributes with its count. In All, a second control picks the Products or Variants grain. A search matches title, id or SKU. Filters adds pills for Brand, Vendor, Department (where your products carry one), Lifecycle, Category, Sales channel, Unit cost and Sell price. Then the column picker, Export, New variant, and Gallery or Table. The page opens on Gallery: one card per product with its picture, its variant count and its planning gaps, paged with Previous and Next.
The Table, products grain, is one row per product: Product, Variants, Planning gaps (the count of fields planning still needs, with the amber mark, Review where a gap is soft, blank where there is none), Unit cost, Sell price, Brand, Vendor (No vendor), Department, Category (Not classified), Lifecycle (Active, Pre-season, Discontinued), Price band (Good, Better or Best, with auto under a band the engine filled; No band), Replenishment (Continuity or Seasonal), Selling window, Size curve (declared, or measured with its day count; No size option), Channels and Last edited (Never edited). Description, Assets, Product ID, Weight, dimensions, Country, Carton quantity and Cube can be switched on. The variants grain reads Product, Variant, SKU, UPC, EAN, Brand, Vendor, Department, Category, Lifecycle, GTIN, Carton quantity, Cube, Weight, HS code, Unit cost, Sell price, Channels and Last edited, with Demand item beside the SKU.
Missing attributes is the same table narrowed to the products whose family asks for something they do not carry, with three columns after Product: Family (No family set where none is declared), Family gaps (None, a count, or nothing can be called missing without a family) and Yours, the count of fields you own rather than the connector.
What to do
Edit a cell in place. Dirty cells collect into a save bar that counts them, with Save changes and Discard; a refused save reads Not saved. Every cell unchanged. Typing a price band, a size curve or a selling window declares it, and the engine's autofill never overwrites a declared value. Select rows for the bulk bar: Select all, Edit fields (Lifecycle, Vendor, Unit cost and Sell price on products; Lifecycle, Unit cost, Sell price and Channels on variants; set to, raise by % or lower by %), Edit customs codes for up to 100 rows, and on variants Plan as one item. Export downloads the view.
Press a row in the Table to open the Attributes drawer: the family, Open product, and the served form, one row per attribute with its Value and its Owner, which reads You, Connector's or Not in this family. Enter or leaving the field commits, Escape abandons, and an unchanged value writes nothing. A field you have written that the storefront has not taken yet carries the words not on your storefront yet under it. The menu on a field you own offers Hand back to the connector. A refused write reads Not saved. The field stands., and a refused hand back reads Not handed back. Tightly owns it. The arrow keys walk the drawer to the next and previous product in the view.
New product opens a drawer that needs a title, a vendor and a category, and opens the new product's page once created. New variant picks its parent first and says what the variant takes from it:
The new variant inherits the parent's brand, category and descriptions.
A SKU already in use is refused on the field:
That SKU is already taken.
Doors out: a product's name in the Table, or a Gallery card, opens the product page; while arrivals wait to be placed, a Families door in the controls opens the desk; Import opens Data.
When it is empty or failed
A first run reads No products, with Import from CSV and Add a single product. A failed table reads:
The catalogue read didn't answer.
A failed queue reads The queue did not answer., and a failed drawer reads The form did not answer.: a failed read, not a finished queue or an empty product. Filters that match nothing keep the toolbar:
No products match these filters.
A queue with nothing waiting reads No product is missing attributes. The page's as-of carries the attribution engine's last run; its states, Stale, Failed and the rest, are the families and attributes engine's words.
