The sentence

One sentence per engine per state, served whole and printed character for character on the page that reads the engine, in the Inbox row and in an answer from Ask Tightly. Each engine's lines run in one order: never ran; running, where the engine speaks while it runs; stale; partial; failed; then nothing yet, not on your plan, paused, not on the run. A word in braces is filled by the page; where it cannot be, a shorter sentence naming no figure is served.

The forecast:

The forecast has not run for this tenant yet. Forecast as of {as_of}; a run was due {due}. The last run rewrote {written} of {expected} lines; the rest are older. Today's forecast run did not finish; figures are as of {as_of}. No sales have synced yet, so there is nothing to forecast. Forecasting is off for this tenant. Paused with the connection; the forecast waits for the sync. This tenant is not on the forecast run.

The grades:

Grades have not been made for this account yet. Grades are from {as_of}; the refresh since then did not run. Some grades did not refresh today; each row carries its own date. Today's grading did not finish; showing {as_of}'s grades. No account reports sell-out yet, so there is nothing to grade. Grading is off for this tenant. Paused with the connection; grading waits for the sync. This tenant is not on the grading run.

The buy, whose fresh line is said only when a run wrote nothing to order:

The buy has not been worked out yet; it follows your first sync. Working out what needs ordering; figures are as of {as_of}. Nothing to order over the next 14 days; every line is covered. Recommendations are from {as_of}; the run since did not finish. Cover was refreshed {as_of}; some quantities are older. Last night's run did not finish; figures are from {as_of}. No forecast has run yet, so the buy cannot be worked out. Working out the buy is off for this tenant. Paused with the connection; the buy waits for the sync. This tenant is not on the buy run.

Price response:

Price response has not been measured for this tenant yet. Last measured {as_of}; no sync has reached it since. Measured {as_of}; some items could not be measured. Price response was not measured today; showing {as_of}'s. No price has moved yet, so there is nothing to compare. Price response is off for this tenant. Paused with the connection; pricing waits for the sync. This tenant is not on the price response run.

Attribution:

Attribution has not run for this catalogue yet. Last measured {as_of}; no sync has completed since. Measured {as_of}; some styles could not be measured. Attribution did not finish today; showing {as_of}'s values. Nothing to measure yet: no sized variants, no priced lines. Not on your plan. Paused with the connection; attribution waits for it. This tenant is not on the attribution run.

Weekly verdicts:

No weekly verdict has run yet. Scoring last week now; started {started}. Last week is not scored; the last verdicts are from {as_of}. Last week was scored; some commitments could not be read. Monday's weekly run did not finish; it retries tonight. Nothing is declared, so nothing is scored. The weekly verdicts run on an active plan; this is paused. This book is not on the weekly run: its source is paused. This book is not on the weekly run: it has no source.

What it means

The sentence says what did not happen and what date the figures on the page are from. A fresh engine says nothing; its as-of carries the time. Late says nothing either and only moves the as-of clause. The sentence prints at Stale, Failed and Partial, when an engine has never run, when nothing was promised, and while the buy or the weekly verdicts run. It is never a failed read: when the page could not learn an engine's state, the figures keep their own stamps, the as-of line reads engine state not read, and no sentence prints. The analog run's sentences are in The families and attributes engine; your sales' are on Integrations. The Monday re-score and the accuracy pass carry sentences of their own, but no page prints them yet; they join this list when a face does.

What to do next

Paused is cleared on Integrations, where the connection is resumed. A Stale, Partial or Failed forecast offers Recalculate now on Demand forecasting, once every two hours. Every other engine retries on its next run and closes the Inbox row it raised. Nothing yet clears as the input arrives: sales, an account's sell-out, a price move, a declaration. Not on your plan and Not on the run ask nothing of you.

Who to ask

Ask Tightly on the page answers from this article, with the state it can see. Tightly's own staff read the same state on their engine view, with the run behind it.
