The room's front door follows the season's stage, and the desk reads the engine end to end.

## What changed

- [The commitment room](../commitments/the-room) opens on the stage you are in: pre-season, a readiness checklist where every item is a door; in season, a weekly reading with scored verdicts and What requires action this week; at the end of the season, a close-out of declared against landed with a door to [Hindsight](../commitments/hindsight).
- The room states the declared envelope once and draws spend as [one ladder](../commitments/the-ladder), declared, committed, placed, received; the split beneath is a bar chart that is also a table, one row per category; an empty room still shows the declared plan, hatched and labelled.
- On [Work the buy](../commitments/the-desk), the style table carries swatches, an editable weekly rate per row, derived and minimum quantity marks, a state column, and cut styles kept as reference rows; opening a style shows five tabs, Depth, Forecast, Cost and return, Sell-out per door, Predecessor.
- The desk reads the engine end to end: shallow plus chase holds the chase portion as a placeholder and names every skipped style's reason, an over-bought style with measured elasticity gets a suggested price reduction logged as [a scenario](../commitments/scenarios), and [releasing the chase](../commitments/chase-release) names the winning style and shows any refusal as served.
- The desk's sheet lists styles in merit order with the cut line drawn inside the table, and a drawer opens at the style or colourway you pressed.
- [The buy plan](../finance/buy-plan) is declared from three company numbers, growth, intake margin and turn, from which the rest derives live, and a category that differs takes a stated exception with a written reason.
- [Accounts](../connect/accounts) shows each account's own claims, the value of each and their notes in their own words, with accept or dismiss on the row.
- [Each account](../connect/the-account) shows how it can be reached, its contacts and the email domains that match incoming messages to it; an account with no domain says so, because without one its mail cannot be linked.
- A cut line or a stated absence spans the whole row, and opening an account from the list opens the account rather than the sign-in screen.
