# Plan denial

## The sentence

Where a request reaches a room your plan does not include:

> This organisation's plan does not include {capability}. It is sold with {tier}.

The two words in braces are filled by Tightly: the capability the room requires, and the plan that sells it, each in the word the product prints rather than the wire's, so the plan reads Lite, Essentials, Essentials+ or Pro. The raw values travel beside the sentence as fields of their own, for a surface to read. The words are the server's, and a page that prints them prints them as they came.

## What it means

Every room a plan sells stands behind one gate, and the gate asks whether your organisation holds the grant for that capability. For Skills and Purchase order sync it also asks the plan itself, so an Essentials organisation is let in without a grant of its own. So the sentence states two things and no more: this room needs a capability your organisation does not hold, and which plan includes it. Commitments, the buyer portal, Demand signals, Market pricing, Planning and the email agent are sold with Pro. Tightly Connect, the baseline engine, Product data and Analogs are sold with Essentials+. The public API, Skills and Purchase order sync are sold with Essentials.

It is not a role denial. Your seat is fine; the organisation's plan is what stops here. A role denial is a different sentence that offers nothing to buy:

> Your access level does not cover this. Ask an admin on Team to raise it.

It is not a failed read: the room exists and answered. It is not a room that has vanished. On the Essentials rail the row stays, marked for sale, and opens [the for-sale page](../platform/for-sale-pages), which prints its own sentence naming the plan rather than this one. On Lite a row Lite cannot sell is absent from the rail, and a typed address the plan does not open reads nothing at all: what prints over the page's own name is the for-sale page's verdict, `Sold with Tightly Pro.`, `Sold with Tightly Essentials+.` or `Sold with Tightly Essentials.`, with no rooms listed and nothing to buy. This sentence is met where a request itself reached Tightly: an act on a page, a call through the API, or a read Ask Tightly made for you.

## What to do next

On Essentials or Essentials+, the for-sale page offers Book time with Tightly and lists what the room holds; [Billing](../settings/billing) is where the plan you are on is written. On Lite nothing is for sale inside the product; the edition is chosen in the store listing. No press and no retry changes the answer: the sentence is the same on every visit until the grant changes.

If you believe your organisation already holds the plan and still reads this, the plan and the grant have parted. An admin at your organisation asks Tightly; Tightly's staff read the grant on your record and can change the plan and its features.

## Who to ask

Ask Tightly on the page answers from this article and from [Tiers](../platform/tiers). On a guided plan, the Tightly person your onboarding plan names can say what your plan holds. On Lite there is no person to ask; Ask Tightly and the help centre are the door.
